A Party at Cosmo

It’s incredible how fast 2011 is flying by; it’s already August! The year has been truly amazing and as we have mentioned in previous blog posts, July 2011 marked the 35th anniversary for Cosmopolitan Medical Communications. For those of you who know the ladies of Cosmo, we are not shy when it comes to celebrating our milestones, as well as our wonderful staff and customers. On July 16th we threw a party that gives the phrase “go big or go home” true meaning. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. We were surrounded by so many great colleagues, family, and friends. With black jack, roulette, poker and craps tables, there was a game for everyone to sit in on and enjoy. The dealers were a lot of fun with great energy, and they made sure everyone was enjoying themselves, and maybe even learned a little bit about the game. For the winners, Cosmopolitan Medical Communications had a room — and we mean an entire room — devoted to prizes, and we definitely didn’t skimp on anything. Prizes included: a 5 foot teddy bear, a Coach purse, a 32” plasma TV, Diamondbacks tickets, a margarita machine aNintendo DS, two WII’s and so much more – there were enough prizes for everyone to take something home. We can’t forget about food and beverages! Not only did we provide a full bar for all our thirsty guests, we had an ice lugeto showcase our drink of the night – the Cosmopolitan! If there wasn’t a cocktail you liked, we had plenty of food that would tickle your taste buds. There were stuffed mushrooms, beef brochettas, gourmet cheeses and quiche. Did we mention the giant shrimp? “Jumbo” doesn’t do them justice, they were huge! For those with a sweet tooth, we had a chocolate fountain with goodies to dip into it!Are you hungry yet? We had such a great time with our team and all of our clients and customers. They truly made the month special for us and made the party a ton of fun. Cheers to the next 35! Head on over to our  Facebook page to see all the fun in our photo album! Don’t forget, Cosmopolitan set a goal to raise $3,500 in 35 days for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We’re halfway there; help us out and donate on our Eventbrite page.
