We Asked Catherine Why She Loves Cosmopolitan…

Catherine S.
Catherine S., one of our scheduling Team Members, has worked for Cosmopolitan Medical for a little over two years now. Catherine always has a bright and charming personality, and always brings a positive attitude with her to work! Catherine started working for us part time, because she was semi retired, and just wanted something to earn a little extra money. With our flexible schedule, Catherine works anywhere from 5-30 hours a week, depending on our seasonal trending. During our slower seasons, Catherine enjoys her flex schedule as she can spend more time during the day at home gardening and out swing dancing at night! When we asked Catherine why she likes working at Cosmopolitan, here’s what she had to say: “I’ve been assigned the privilege to blog about why I love working at Cosmopolitan/AnswerNow. To begin, I want to mention that my friend and co-worker recently said she doesn’t start her day thinking “I have to go to work today.” Instead, she says, “I get to go to work today!” I thought, wow, what a great attitude and so fitting for today’s job climate. I wholeheartedly adopt her viewpoint and honestly feel fortunate to work with and be part of the Cosmopolitan/AnswerNow team. Naturally, there are several reasons for me that include: convenient location, working with really nice people, immaculately clean office spaces, and consistently high levels of professional work ethic towards out Team Members and our clients. Also, the perks this year have turned out to be a veritable bonus for me……because I won a Wii game system!! Did I mention perks? I love the covered parking; especially on our hot and sunny days. I also love the parties. The recent casino theme party was a success; fun games, good food, really good cosmos to imbibe, and prizes to be won. We also enjoy holiday celebrations, barbecues, and our well-equipped kitchen randomly stocked with free pizza, nachos, breakfast bagels, fruit, fresh popcorn; it’s all provided to appreciate us. We are well-trained to and expected to adhere to strict work performance metrics. However, we are shown appreciation in a variety of ways. There are rewards and incentive prizes for good attendance, for working extra hours to cover the clients’ needs, and for doing well on calls. We have a comment box, and our suggestions are always taken seriously. In fact, all the chairs in the call center were changed after some comments that the previous ones were uncomfortable. What I also consider an amazing perk is the great employee benefits programs. I’ve been on this planet and in the work force long enough to know these things cannot be taken for granted. I purposely mentioned working with really nice people because they are exactly that, really nice. Without getting too sappy, I’m taking this opportunity to sincerely appreciate my co-workers, team managers, trainers, and other management for always being so very helpful. I sometimes tend to re-ask the same people the same questions, and not once has anyone even hinted that I am a bother. Someone is always there to assist with patience and positive reinforcement. I will end by stating I think this is a great place to work. Our company has been repeatedly voted as one of the best places to work in the Phoenix area, and I have seen much of how that spotlight was earned.”
