This holiday, we find ourselves in a position to give back. We have steady jobs, and unlike many companies, our business is continuing to thrive despite the troubled economy. Here at Cosmopolitan, we wanted to do something to help brighten the holidays for those families who have fallen on tough times. We are holding our annual Toy and Canned Food Drive, where Team Members are able to bring in items to be donated to local food banks and assistance programs throughout our community!
Being a small company, we are doing our best to get everyone involved. We are dividing our staff into teams, and creating friendly competition to see which team can bring in the most items to be donated! The team that brings in the most cans, as well as the team that brings in the most toys, will get to wear jeans for an entire week! So far, we have gathered more than 30 toys and more than 400 cans, and we are still going strong! Many of the families in our community may not have the means to celebrate the holidays this year, and we know that our donations can make such a huge difference! “I love having the opportunity to help families and children in need!” said Team Member Samantha M.
The food drive is in full-swing until 2 p.m. today, Friday, December 16th, so there’s still time to bring in donations and make an even bigger impact!
