Virtual Lab Results Are A Valued Service
Under our virtual lab results service, patients can sign-up to receive lab results over the phone, at a time of day or night of their choosing. To help ensure confidentiality, patients (while still in the office) choose a unique password or PIN number that they’ll use to access the results once they are available. When the results come in, doctors can record a patient’s lab results – and any other pertinent information – in their own voice, helping to maintain that positive personal connection. Patients then receive a call at their pre-specified time, enter their PIN or password, and listen to the recording.
Reduce Overhead and Patient Anxiety
This helps to reduce patient frustrations by receiving important calls when they can’t answer – such as when they’re at work – and having to wait even longer for important news. This also helps to reduce staff time wasted on repeated calls, and helps you to manage your own time more effectively. If patients have further time-sensitive questions, our virtual answering service is there for overflow or after-hours calls; this allows patients to still receive a valued human connection while their message is being relayed.
