Today was a very exciting day for celebrations at Cosmo! A lot of people were still full from the Nacho Bar yesterday, but it didn’t deter them from moving full steam ahead once we had the Ice Cream Bar set up. We had over 40 toppings from hot fudge, caramel, and butter scotch to Reese’s, twix, butterfinger, nilla wafers, m&m’s, marshmallows, coconut, and so many more. Oh, and of course there were sprinkles 🙂
Our Team Members were surprised when they came in today to find that in addition to Ice Cream Day, we also decided to purchase a
scratcher Lottery ticket for each Team Member. We do have a few Team Members under the age of 21, so they each received a candy bar – but their prize turned out better than some of our Team Members who had losing tickets. We haven’t made it through the day yet (remember we are a 24 hour business!) but so far we have had several $1.00 and $2.00 winners, but Chenoa T, Laurie P and Niki V have all “hit it big” with $10.00 winning scratchers! Even those who didn’t win had fun with the anticipation and excitement of finding out who was going to be the biggest winner of the day.
We continued our raffle today, asking Team Members pop quiz questions to test their company and account knowledge. Today it seemed the Team Members had been studying last night, and were prepared in case there were more questions today! We also had a raffle prize added to the collection today! Our company President provided a Garmin navigation system which will be raffled off to one of our lucky Team Members during Friday’s raffle.
Today was definitely a day of fun and excitement. The sugar effect of my ice cream is starting to wear off, so it’s time to go and finish shopping for tomorrow’s fun!
