Medallic Art Company provided Maserati with custom-minted medallions to honor its 100-year anniversary and their newest, most exciting entry into the luxury car market.
As the sole Medal of Honor recipient in Coast Guard history, Signalman First Class Douglas Albert Munro holds a special place in the hearts and minds of every Guardsman. To raise funds for the new Douglas A. Munro Coast Guard College Scholarship Fund, and honor the new Coast Guard headquarters that now bears his name, Northwest Territorial Mint created a one of a kind coin that offers an enduring tribute to Signalman First Class Munro’s legacy.
The expert craftsmanship of the medallions and guns had such acclaim that they attracted the attention of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
Along with the commemorative coin inletted in the shoulder stock of the rifle, we created a two-sided souvenir coin that accompanies the limited edition Ruger Revolver that VF Grace produced for the 50th anniversary celebration.
The commemorative medallions were an overwhelming success, with the limited edition rifles quickly selling out of stock.
